The midpoint of the first quarter is quickly
approaching – ‘tis the time to communicate academic progress with students and
their families. The window to input 1st term Progress Reports is now open. All 1st marking term
grades and comments for the Progress Reports must be submitted in Aspen by 11:59pm
by Thursday, October 10th. Long-term
substitutes who do not have access to Aspen grades should see John Splaine. He will determine a date and time during
which he can support you through this process.
We will distribute Progress Reports for students in
homeroom on Wednesday, 10/16. A second
set will be given to homeroom teachers to be given directly to parents and
guardians who attend the open house. We
will send reports via snail mail to those who do not show for the open house.
I can’t underscore enough how important it is to
complete the progress reports by the deadline. Teacher access is shut off at 11:59pm on Thursday, October 10th. Heretofore, Guidance would support those who
did not submit on time. They have enough
their plate. Therefore, those who do not
submit on-time can schedule an appointment to do so with me (hint, hint).
